This accommodation is on the third floor of an apartment building and has been recently refurbished to a very high standard, with a well-equipped kitchen, luxury shower room and modern furnishings. All rooms are light and spacious, with wooden or ceramic floors. The apartment sleeps four in two spacious bedrooms (1 double and 2 single beds), but also has pull down double bed which could be used for two extra people. Separate secure storage is available for skis and other equipment. Stola is a small village with its own community, but which also welcomes skiers and walkers to this beautiful and traditional setting. There is a small shop, post office and a number of bars which are open in season.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per night in UK Pounds.
Discounts are available for longer stays of more than a week. Three nights minimum stay or 7 nights over Xmas and New Year.
A 225 euros or 7500 ssk deposit against damages is required, although we will not charge for small accidental breakages such as crockery.
10% discount available for all bookings over 7 days.
Changeover day
There is no pre-determined changeover day. However, we do ask visitors to arrive after 2pm and to leave the apartment by 11am to allow time for cleaning.
| Bedrooms: | The main bedroom has a double bed and is very spacious. Bedroom 2 has two single beds and is comfortable, with access to the external balcony. Both have ample storage facilities. |
| Bathrooms: | This room has been completely rebuilt with a large walk-in shower, sink and WC Excellent lighting and tasteful ceramics. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen is open plan off the hall. Gas hob, electric oven and grill, fridge/freezer. Well equipped with quality products. |
| Utility Room: | A small, secure storage area is available in the communal area of the apartment building that provides adequate storage for skis and other outdoor equipment. |
| Living Rooms: | Comfortable with modern lighting and furnishings. One x 3 seater sofa and one x 3 seater sofa bed which provides additional sleeping for 2 people. Large dining table with 6 dining chairs. Satellite TV and DVD player. |
| Other: | All rooms are accessed off spacious hall area, with storage for outdoor wear. |

The flat will be cleaned and serviced before you arrive, and when you leave. All linen and towels are provided. |

Skiing
Good skiing for all levels of ability and other winter sports are available close by. Two beginners slopes are within walking distance of the apartment and a range of others are within a short distance by car or electric railway, including the Strbske Pleso olympic slope. Please contact the owners for a detailed description of local ski facilities.
Travel
UK visitors can reach Poprad by air (Sky Europe), flying direct to the town airport, (12km). Good rail services link to Bratislava, Budapest and Prague. Locally, a bus service links Poprad and the village of Stola. An electric train service runs both from Poprad, and from a more local station (40 mins walk from the apartment) into the mountains. Car hire is recommended in order to explore the area easily, although our representative can pick visitors up from airport or rail station.

Further details
In both the High Tatras National Park, and to the south in Slovensky Raj, there are well-marked routes and facilities for walkers and mountaineers of all levels. Wildlife is varied and abundant, with bears and wolves roaming in the less populated areas. There is also ice-skating on frozen lakes in the winter. Poprad hosts the famous Aquacity water complex and spa, that includes a revolutionary cryotherapy centre. Water rafting down mountain rivers is also available in the summer months.
