The apartment is 49sqm and is on the 1st floor in a house in Elssholzstrasse. From the bedroom you can walk out onto a balcony and sit there and enjoy a green and very nice back garden. The apartment is in the beautiful and clean and very green part of Berlin called Schöneberg. This part of the city is in the centre of Berlin just next to the area called Mitte. The apartment is close to the main street Kurfürstendamm and the big department store KaDeWe which is the 2nd biggest department store in Europe. It is very easy to get to the big tourist attractions from the area – for example will it only take about 10 – 15 mins. with public transport to get to Potsdamer Platz. In Schöneberg you will find lots and lots of restaurants with food from all over the world and small shops that sell all kind of special and unique things. 50 meters from the apartment you'll find Kleist Park where you can lie on the grass and relax and just enjoy the atmosphere.

Notes on prices
Minimum stay is 3 nights. You can book one extra bed for a 3th person. This costs 15 euro per night. 1 week/7 nights is 70 Euro. End of stay cleaning (compulsory) charge is 60 Euro. The key you will get when you arrive at the flat. If you come later than 18.00 (Sunday 20.00) there will be a 'late check in fee' of 15 Euro which is paid directly to my attendant who also will help you if something serious happens under you stay in Berlin. How to pay: either by bank transfer or internet banking.

Changeover day
Changeover days are flexible to suit your travel plans. The apartment is yours from 14:00 on the day of arrival except Sunday. Here the flat is free from 17:30. Check out time is 11:00 from Monday till Saturday. Sunday it is 13:00.

Bedrooms: Bedroom with double bed (140x200cm). From the bedroom you can walk out onto a balcony. If you want to stay 3 people in the flat the extra bed will be in the bedroom.
Bathrooms: In the bathroom you will find a bath, shower and a WC.
Kitchen: In the kitchen you will find all the tools you need for cooking. The kitchen has a cooker, oven, fridge, freezer, toaster, coffee maker and an iron.
Living Rooms: In the living room there are for example a dining table, 1 sofa, 1 armchair, DVD player, TV and music-player. All is decorated in a light and modern way.

There is a end of stay cleaning charge for 60 euro and that includes cleaning, linen, 2 towels per person.

Outside
Just outside the apartment there is a back garden - very green and peaceful. On the balcony there is 1 table and 2 chairs. You can park your car just outside the front building. Parking is free.

Travel
The nearest airport is Tegel. If you use public transport it will take about about 45 mins to get the the flat. If you take a taxi it takes about 15 - 20 mins and costs about 20 euro.

If you fly to Berlin Schönefeld it will take about 75 mins to get to the flat using public transport. By taxi it will take about 30 mins and cost between 30 and 40 euro.

Distances
The apartment is in the centre of Berlin so it is easy to get around.

Further details
The nearest supermarket is about 200 meters from the apartment. The whole area is full of restaurants, bars and small shops.

Booking notes
There is a damage deposit of 150 euro. You will of course get the money back if nothing is damaged.

My name is Jesper Kappel and I live in Copenhagen Denmark. I am a journalist and work for newspapers and organisations. Since 2006 I have had 2 apartments in Berlin that I rent out. Why do I have apartments in Berlin? Well I love Berlin. It's a lovely city and I always feel secure. It doesn't matter if you go in the streets at 2pm or 2am. Berlin has so much to offer: lots of museums, lots of parks, lots of restaurants, good pubs, good shows, good shops and then there is the whole history. Berlin is also a very green and clean city. There are nearly trees in every street. When you have been there once - you want to come back again and again.

Why an apartment in Schöneberg Berlin? Why stay in that part of Berlin? Well the answers are very simple. Schöneberg is a very green and clean part of Berlin. It is in the centre of Berlin, so it is very easy to get around. BUT still - it is a peaceful area. In Schönberg you will find anything you need. There are lots of restaurants with food from all over the world. There are many small interesting shops. Every Wednesday and Saturday there is a great market where you can buy lots of good food, clothes, leatherwork, jewellery and and and...You can find many good bars where you can buy nice drinks - and they are cheap as well.

Unique benefits of the property
From the flat it is so easy to get around in Berlin. It is only about 300 meter to the nearest tube-station. The city transport system of Berlin is very good and very cheap. From the apartment it is about 200 meter to a good supermarket and green areas are very close by. The apartment has a nice balcony where you can sit and just relax and enjoy maybe a glass and look at the nice back garden. It is so peaceful there, and there is a lovely and good atmosphere in the apartment. From the apartment you can walk to KaDeWe - the biggest department store in Berlin - and you can walk to Kurfürstendamm which is the main shopping street in Berlin.
