A compact apartment with beautiful solid timber flooring and full kitchen. The house is from 1900's is very well located. Close to shopping and Berlin's transport system.

Accessibility
The apartment is on the 1st floor and our building has a lift. The lift is big enough for suitcases and people up to 150kg's. Unfortunately wheelchairs don't fit into the lift!

The house has a small green leafy courtyard.
Travel
Both of Berlin's 2 airports are easily accessible within approx. 35 minutes with Berlins public transport. Parking is available free of charge on the street infront of the house.
Distances
The house is located 1 minutes walk from Hermannplatz, one of Berlin's city squares. The square has an Underground station with 2 lines running through. The U8 line will take you to Berlin-Mitte in 11 minutes without a change.
Further details
Our house has a Housekeeper called Max who takes pride in the house and is always a great source of information on where to go in Berlin etc. Living in the house himself, Max makes possible late arrivals.

About the owner
I am an Australian living together with my young family in Berlin. It didn't take long to fall in love with Berlin and having studied architecture it seemed a natural move to buy up some of Berlin's wonderful apartments!
I have renovated all the apartments and take great care to design them for a 'home like' feel. I like to mix the old with the new and know by now most of the great secondhand dealers in Berlin!
I have a 'thing' with beds so I only have great ones in my apartments...

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We bought the entire building in 2008 + by chance most of the tenants moved out allowing me to transform the house into one of many furnished apartments. The area is central, sometimes busy but there is always something going on.
