Notes on accommodation
Although the property is done up to suit up to six adults in a tasteful and sophisticated environment we also try to cater for younger guests, providing high chair, cot, toys etc.
Accessibility
I'm afraid the flat is in a period building and there is no lift. However the stairs to the 2nd floor are not steep, wide and safe.
Travel
Airport Tegel (ca. 10km): Take Bus 109 direction Zoologischer Garten, exit at S-Bahnhof Charlottenburg. Walk down Kaiser-Friedrichstr. to next corner with Kantstrasse, turn right, the house is on the opposite side of the street, directly behind restaurant Portofino.
Airport Schoenefeld (ca. 1 h): Take the S-Bahn 9 (overland), exit at S-Bahnhof Charlottenburg. Walk down Kaiser-Friedrichstr. to next corner with Kantstrasse, turn right, the house is opposite, behind restaurant Portofinos.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
After getting out of the UK property market in 2007 and moving to somewhere on a hill in Switzerland we decided to invest into some kind of property ladder in Berlin. Not because my wife's family live there (that's just what she thinks...) but because it's an utterly fantastic city, without a hill in sight...

As we have ample experience of travelling with children we try and provide a space that's both enjoyable for sophisticated grown-ups but also has all the amenities needed (high chair, travel cot, toys, etc)
