1 bedroom apartment centrally located in beautifully refurbished 1920's art deco Altbau in Wilmersdorf. Cafes, bars, shops, supermarkets and parks all on your doorstep. Excellent choice of restaurants all within a 5 minute walk. 300 metres from nearest S and U bahn stations (Bundesplatz). A couple of stops from famous K'damm shopping district where you can find KaDeWe. Nearby is the spectacular church tower of Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedachtniskirche. Berlin Zoo is well worth a visit and several good museums are also in the vicinity. Local nightlife includes Nollendorfplatz. Wilmersdorf is a delightful area not only in its own right but from which to explore the extraordinary cultural, culinary and entertainment attractions of Berlin and the region.

Coast/Beach
Berlin has many lakes, beaches, waterways and forests! The great news is that they are all a short journey via public transport network. Wannsee is only 30 mins away on S bahn. It's a beautiful lake and beach with great facilities.
Skiing
The only skiing we have seen is on the artificial slopes at the winter markets!
Travel
All airports are easily reached vis S and U bahn. Schonefeld is 30 mins away by direct S bahn (S45). Car hire really is not required as Berlin is fantastically serviced by trains, boats and buses!

'Allan, we're back from our week's stay in your comfortable Berlin apartment. Eva showed us around the apartment, then we were out exploring Berlin in no time. Your apartment was a convenient 'home base' after a long day's sightseeing around that really interesting city. It's so nice to have the extra room and a kitchen for breakfast or the occasional simple soup supper. The German and the Mexican restaurant nearby were just too good! The apartment building was clean and quiet, immediate neighborhood felt comfortable and secure even at night. We had no qualms walking home with our daughter after a leisurely dinner.
