The apartments are located on a quiet side street, 5 minutes walk from the magnificent Tiergarten Park and the River Spree. They are ideally situated for Berlin's main attractions and only 5 minutes on foot to Bellevue S-Bahn (overground train station). Both apartments have recently been refurbished in a contemporary style with laminate floors and modern furniture.

Prices are for the properties per night/week. Discounts for longer stays possible. Minimum stay is 2 nights. Towels and bedding are included in the price. Final cleaning is included in the price for stays of 3 nights plus. Over Christmas/New Year period (23rd Dec - 3rd Jan) there will be a 25% surcharge to normal prices.

This studio apartment (40sq.m) has a spacious living area with a double sofabed, 3-seater sofa, cable TV/DVD and dining area for 4 people. There is a good size balcony leading from the living room, fully equipped separate kitchen with cooker, fridge and microwave and the bathroom has a bath with overhead shower. There is a large hallway with a cupboard and chest of drawers for clothes. Laundry facilities are available in the apartment block.

This one bedroom apartment (53sqm) has a modern living room with a double sofabed, 3-seater sofa, cable TV/DVD and dining area for 5 people.
A door leads off to the balcony and there is a fully equipped separate kitchen with cooker, fridge, microwave and washing machine.
The kitchen has a breakfast bar with additional seating for 2 people.
The modern tiled bathroom has a shower cubicle and there is a cupboard in the hallway for hanging clothes.
The bedroom has both a double and single bed and a large chest of drawers.

 

Notes on accommodation
The apartments are on the ground floor and are fully central-heated with constant hot water, both have irons/ironing boards and hairdryers. Tea and coffee are provided free of charge. Children and pets are welcome. A highchair and travel cot are available on request. Smoking is permitted on the balconies. Parking is available free of charge on the street (Berlin is a low emissions zone so a sticker must be displayed).

Accessibility
Unfortunately, the apartments are not suitable for wheelchairs.

Outside
The apartments have balconies with table and chairs. Within 5 minutes walk are supermarkets, a bakery, shops and the S-Bahn station. There are some local bars and restaurants in the area around the apartments and the Tiergarten Park is located at the end of the road as is the River Spree with its popular boat cruises.

Coast/Beach
There are several parks, forests and lakes in and around Berlin which are accessible by public transport. Also in the summer the city has urban beach bars and of course numerous biergartens.

Travel
It is not necessary to have a car in Berlin, the apartments are very central and Berlin has a superb, inexpensive public transport system of overground and underground trains (also trams in some areas).
Tegel Airport is the closest to the apartments approx 10 minutes by car/taxi. The TXL Airport Express Bus stop is about 10 minutes on foot. Schonefeld Airport is approx 40 minutes on the train, there is a direct link from the airport to Bellevue Station costing just over 2 euros.

Distances
Berlin's main attractions are easily accessible from the apartments and many are within walking distance. From Bellevue S-Bahn there are regular trains connecting to Berlin's densely woven transport system (only 2 stops to Zoologischer Garten.) The nearest U-Bahn (underground station) is Turmstrasse which is approx 15 minutes walk. The spectacular new main train station (Hauptbahnhof) is only 15 minutes on foot and taxis are in plentiful supply here.

Further details
There are 2 supermarkets within 5 mins walk of the apartments and also local shops, banks, bars and restaurants.

Booking notes
A 25% deposit is required to guarantee your booking (payable by cheque or Bank Transfer). A refundable security deposit of £80/100 euros will be required to cover for any damages, lost keys or breakages. Cancellations will be free of charge up to 4 weeks before the arrival date, after that the deposit is non-refundable. However, if we manage to rent the property again we will gladly refund the deposit.
