The Traunbachhausl is a cozy inn with 14 guest rooms, made with traditional Bavarian woodwork and craftsmanship. All rooms have private baths. Children are very welcome. The inn is situated in the middle of the valley – peaceful, quiet and a short 10 minute stroll to the centre of the village. Enjoy a panoramic view of the Alps from our garden terrace, or take in the views from any of the hiking and biking paths close by. Each day starts with a breakfast buffet, including homemade bread, cereals and a selection of local cold cuts and cheeses. Now you’re ready for a day spent exploring the area. Ruhpolding is surrounded by a fairy-tale landscape of lakes, meadows and forests. It is an ideal center for tours of the area, including the region around Salzburg (30minutes), the Eagle`s Nest at Berchtesgarden, or a visit to King Ludwig`s castle on Lake Chiemsee.
