Apartment full of charm in an 1805 building forming a quadrangle around an inner yard. Near the Vltava river. Karlin boasts some wonderful restaurants and coffeeshops. It is so close to the city centre, Old Town and the Charles Bridge that a metro (across the street from the apartment) or a tram (outside the apartment) gets you there in minutes. A slow, easy walk to the centre will take 15 minutes. A building manager is available in case you have any questions regarding the apartment or any questions regarding the Golden City. Spending your Prague vacation in this comfortable and easily accessible apartment is the way to go!

Kitchen: Eat-in large kitchen, fully equipped with modern gas cooker, large fridge/freezer. Dishwasher and washing machine, microwave. Nice dining table with 6 chairs. All kitchen utensils as well as china, glasses and pots etc.
Utility Room: 1 large utility room for storage.
Living Rooms: The nicely decorated living room has a large sofa and 2 armchairs, drinks cabinet, coffee table, TV, satellite. Also a full dinning suite.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
1 full set of towels and bed linen per person supplied upon arrival. Changed after one week, if your stay is more than a week. Cleaning before and after your stay.

 

Notes on accommodation
The flat is situated on the second floor of the building which houses other large apartments as well as a couple of offices and small studio apartments. A Bio food shop and a vegetarian restaurant occupy the ground floor. The owners family live in the building. The apartment is suitable for children and has equipment for babies.

There are several good Golf courses within a 20km radius and an indoor golfrange up the road.

Travel
Ruzyne Airport (Prague) is 15kms from Karlin. No need for car hire if your aim is to explore the Golden City.

Distances
From the airport, you can either take a shuttle bus, a taxi or otherwise an airport bus that takes you to the centre and then you will have to transfer to the metro.
15 minutes easy walking takes you to the centre. You can also walk along the embankment of the Vltava river from Karlin to the Charles Bridge.
It takes 4 minutes by metro (yellow line) or 8 minutes by tram (24) to Vaclavske Namesti.
The public transport in Prague is excellent!

Further details
Karlin has many small boutiques, banks, good restaurants, coffee shops, parks and a wonderful church. It is fast becoming one of the more fashionable areas of the city.
Most of the sight seeing high spots are in walking distance from Karlin: Charles Bridge, The Old Town Square, Vaclavske Namesti, The Opera House and the National Museum etc...

Booking notes
25% deposit upon confirmation of reservation, either by bank transfer or cheque. The balance to be paid in cash upon arrival. Deposit non-refundable except in case of medical emergency (in which case 90% will be refunded).
