This large spacious luxurious detached penthouse is wonderfully positioned on the Paradise Beach Resort, and is situated right on the beautiful Ponta Preta Beach, which is a haven for sun lovers with it's crystal clear waters and tropical beaches. It is the only one on the resort, that has a combination of, a private balcony (most have a shared balcony, therefore with very little privacy), situated on the 1st/2nd floors (more privacy), has 2 bathrooms, faces south, therefore enjoying the sun all day long, and is located in a nice quiet position on the resort with fantastic sea views, and only a few steps away from the beach. The Paradise Beach resort has restaurants, bars, supermarket and shops all within a few metres away. The private use of several large swimming pools are also a few metres away. Wonderful sea views can be enjoyed from all of the huge balconies, which are also accommodated with comfortable sun loungers, sofas, tables and chairs.

Accessibility
The penthouse is accessible by either the stairs or its own private lift. As the lounge/dining room, kitchen, master bedroom/en-suite and balcony, are all situated on the same level as the lift, the penthouse is ideally suitable for any disabled guests.

Outside
The penthouse is detached and therefore is very private. Also, as it faces south, it enjoys the sun all day long on the very large balconies which have wonderful sea views. The use of the 7 private swimming pools for guests only, are all within a few metres away, as are the tennis courts which are also available for guests only. The resort also offer tuition for kite and wind surfing on site. Other activities include scuba diving, snorkeling, deep sea fishing, sailing and quad biking.

Coast/Beach
The wonderful Ponta Preta Beach is only a few metres away from the penthouse.

Travel
The international airport is only a 10/15 minute taxi drive from the Penthouse and Cape Verde is only 51/2 hours from the UK with very little time difference, therefore no jet lag! In fact it's being named 'The New Carribbean on Your Doorstop' but without the risk of any hurricanes.
You can enjoy year round sunshine with temperatures ranging from 24 to 30 degrees and almost no rainfall at all so its the ideal getaway what ever time of the year you choose to go.

Distances
The charming local village of Santa Maria, with its numerous shops, bars, restaurants, banks etc, is only a 20/25 walk away. A visit to the salt lakes which are situated at Pedra De Lume is a worth while visit, or take a look at the main capital of Espargos.
A car is not essential as all the facilities are all within walking distance, but for those who like a bit of adventure, then hire a quad bike for the day and visit the many sand dunes and beaches that the island has to offer.

Further details
For those who just want to chill out, then simply watch the local fishermen bring in their daily catch on the pier in Santa Maria, stroll around the many craft shops where you can buy anything from African hand made jewellery to beautiful hand paintings or just enjoy a cold beer just watching the day go by. What ever you chose to do, you will enjoy the truly local charm of the Cape Verdian people who have smiles as warm as the Cape Verdian sun.

Lovely top floor penthouse apartment with great sea views. Quality furniture both inside and on the 2 huge balconies. Large lounge and bedrooms, with a massive TV in the lounge and another one in the bedroom !
As it is detached, we found it very quiet and private. The beach being only a minute away was great for our morning and evening strolls. Loved the local town. Great stay. Mr C Gayton

We, Paul and Sandy are the private owners of three properties in Cape Verde which consist of a Luxury Villa, Luxury Penthouse and a Luxury Apartment. We purchased them when we visited the island in 2008. We simply fell in love with the island and its people and decided that others would do the same! Now that we are both retired, we pride ourselves with the personal service that we are able to give to our clients.
