The apartment is very spacious and has one double bedroom. The main living area has a double sofa bed and a fully equipped open plan kitchen. There are 2 balconies, one from the living room and a small balcony from the bedroom. There is a nice sized bathroom with shower and the apartment is air conditioned. The apartment is in excellent condition, modern and clean. The apartment is located in a quiet area just 8 minutes walk from the centre of Santa Maria where there are a number of bars and restaurants. Bed linen is also supplied and weekly cleaning service is included. Within a short walking distance there is a beautiful white sandy beach which is popular with windsurfers and kite boarders. The apartment is close to the hotel 'Sab Sab' where you can enjoy free use of the swimming pool.

Bedrooms: Good sized double bedroom with double bed. Has good sized wardrobes (incl hangers), bedside cabinets and a room safe for your valuables. French doors leading to small private balcony.
Bathrooms: Good sized bathrooms which includes shower, WC, bidet, sink, wall cabinet over sink with mirror and back lighting. Washing machine in corner of bathroom.
Kitchen: Open plan kitchen to the main living area. Sink, modern cupboards, built in fridge freezer and microwave. Gas hob and kettle. The apartment is self catering and therefore has all plates, pans, cutlery, utensils etc included.
Living Rooms: Nice sized living room with high ceilings. Double sofa bed, family sized dining table, sideboard with TV and XBox game system. Living room leads to a large balcony with table a chair set (up to 4 people).
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Bed linen and towels are provided (not beach towels). Apartment cleaning c/w bedding and towels changed weekly. Extra cleaning available at extra cost payable locally.

The apartment is self catering and has all the necessary cooking utensils, plates, pans and cutlery. There is a washing machine and the apartment has air conditioning.

Coast/Beach
Apartment is 150m from beach (short 2 minute walk!). The beach is quite with Josh Angulo World Champion Windsurf Centre nearby. The 'Tud Fish' vendor is also located here, which sells tasty freshly caught fish.

Travel
Amilcar Cabral airport is a 20 min taxi ride away. Taxi rank is directly outside airport and there is always a taxi available. Expect to pay around 10 euros.

Distances
Santa Maria town centre is a 8 min walk away. This is the main tourist area with great restaurants, bars and beaches.
The capital, Espargos is next to the airport and is cheaper than Santa Maria. There are some good restaurants and bars here and can easily be reached by taxi. Pedra Lume is another 10 mins from Espargos and are beautiful salt pans which are well worth visiting.

Further details
2-3 mins walk from the apartment, there is a large family bar with 2 pool tables and food which is served daily. Further along the road is a selection of bars in the town and numerous excellent restaurants.
You may also use the Hotel 'Sab Sab' pool, free of charge, which is located in front of the apartment (1-2 min walk).
