The old town with its many bars and restaurants can be reached on foot within minutes. The facilities offered by the complex mean that in the winter season it is also ideal for a non-skier! Outside
The outside of the complex has landscaped gardens. The apartment has stunning views of the mountains. The facilities included in the development include swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, fitness room and spa. It also has an Irish bar and coffee bar.
Skiing
Bansko is an ideal skiing holiday for all levels of skiers and snowboarders. Beginners and Intermediates can experience a fun, but incredibly cheap holiday. Ski passes, equipment hire and 4 hour ski school per day for a 6 day period will cost under £180. The ski instructors all speak English. There is also a Kindergarten Ski club for Children aged 4-7. Here your children will experience skiing and fun activities. They will be safely and securely looked after by experienced English speaking nursery staff. There are 65km of ski runs, serviced by the most modern ski lift and gondolas in Europe. There are a total of 15 Runs, including the black 'Tomba' run. A 6km ski road takes you all the way back down to the Town and proves and excellent way to brush up on skills and put in some practice before hitting the main slopes. It can also be used as an alternative to catching the Gondola back down, giving you the chance to ski to within 75metres of the apartment.
Travel
Fly to either Sofia or Plovdiv. Manchester, Heathrow & Luton fly direct to Sofia (Wizzair from Luton are amazingly cheap if booked earlier enough). EasyJet fly to Sofia from Gatwick airport. You can fly to Plovdiv from most UK airports including East Midlands, Coventry, Bristol, Newcastle, Cardiff, Edinburgh etc. The transfer times to the resort are both between 2 and 2.5 hours.
Distances
150km from Sofia. 160km from Plovdiv. Transfers can be arranged from both airports with English speaking drivers. A return journey to either aiport will cost approximately 150 Euros. English speaking drivers can also be provided.
Further details
This accommodation is perfect for all young or old, couples, families, groups etc.
For summer holidays mountain biking, hiking, fishing, golfing, pony trekking and paintballing can all be arranged.
Booking notes
25% deposit at time of booking. Remaining balance to be paid 4 weeks prior to travel. £100 refundable security deposit to cover accidental damage and breakages. This will be refunded within 7 days of departure.
