Outside
The swimming pool is shared with the other tennants in the block, but locals cannot use it. There is a smaller separate pool for the children & babies. Outdoor furniture is free to use and drinks and poolside snacks are available. The gardens are fully maintained throughout the year.
Coast/Beach
10-15 minute walking distance to the beach or a chair lift can be used for 1 lev = 33p which will take approx 2 mins. There is a choice of 3 beaches within the area, the other 2 beaches are within reach by car or the frequent buses.
Travel
Varna airport is the nearest, it is 20mins by car. Although you can get a bus from the airport to Varna Centre and then change and get a bus directly to Alan Mak. (we would recommend where possible that you drive directly to the apartment as some locals do not speak good English). We can arrange transfers if needed; £26.00 return.
Distances
The apartment is situated on the same stretch of road as local bars, shops and restaurants. The nearest town is Golden Sands, which has lively night life (if you wish) or you can go to the quiet bars and restaurants. This area also has excellent shopping facilities, which includes ladies, men's, children’s clothing and accessories. Also has many items for the home and jewellery.
Further details
There are plenty of money exchange facilities around. There are 2 supermarkets to choose from on the same road as the apartment. Also a pizzeria, an Italian, German & Bulgarian restaurants.
