Villa Cornisa provides the ultimate 'get away from it all destination with all the comfort of home. The villa sits in a slightly elevated position providing panoramic views across the hills and forests opposite. You can quite easily spend the whole day here and lose yourself in the tranquility of the location, but it is just as easy to hop into a car and you can reach Varna or the beach resorts of Golden Sands and St.Constantine in around 15 minutes. The village itself is traditionally Bulgarian-you will see the locals cruising the streets on their donkeys and chickens scratching about and enjoying their own local delicacies. There are village shops selling general provisions, a bar and a new resturant opening 2012. Flights from UK to Varna airport are available from Luton with Wizzair, there are flights from UK to Sofia with regular connecting flights to Varna airport available. Balkan Holidays offer flight only from a number of regional airports during the summer season.

Changeover day
Saturday is preferred changeover day but alternative dates by arrangement. Occupation is from 4pm on day of arrival, property to be vacated by 10am on day of departure.

Bedrooms: Master bedroom has large double bed, with ample drawer and wardrobe space.
Bedroom 2 with two full size single beds, drawers and wardrobe.
Bedroom 3 with full adult size bunk beds with storage.
Full sized pull out sofa bed in lounge.
Bathrooms: Upstairs bathroom with shower, wash hand basin and WC.
Ground floor wet room with shower, wash hand basin and WC.
Both are fully tiled modern bathrooms with mains water and WC.
Hot water provided by electric heater.
Kitchen: Fully equipped with ample workspace and includes oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave and a number of good quality smaller appliances.
Living Rooms: Lounge area with comfortable furniture including a pull out sofa that converts to full size bed. Satellite TV and DVD player included. Dining area is directly off the kitchen with table and chairs and a door leading to patio area.
Other: Large hall with cloak room, store cupboard and staircase leading to landing with further storage cupboards.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
The villa will be cleaned prior your visit, and weekly during your stay. All linen and bathroom towels are provided but please bring pool/beach towels. The pool and garden are serviced weekly and 24 hour local assistance is available throughout your stay.

Notes on accommodation
The villa is fully secured, double glazed throughout and also has an intruder alarm.

The two main bedrooms have doors onto a balcony with stunning views over the countryside. The bedrooms have heat reflecting blinds to help keep the rooms cool and fans are provided in each bedroom.

Accessibility
The property occupies an elevated position and would not be suitable for guests with mobility problems.

Outside
The lawned gardens provide areas of shade throughout the day. The well maintained lawned gardens and flower beds at the property offer the perfect place to relax and enjoy this beautiful tranquil setting.

There is a barbecue oven and large patio suitable for both sun bathing and al fresco dining. The swimming pool which is exclusive to the property is great for cooling off on a hot summer day(approx size 4.5x5m).

Garden furniture including sun loungers, table, chairs and parasols are provided. The property also has a balcony leading off both main bedrooms where you can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

Coast/Beach
A number of beaches within easy driving distance of the village. Most beaches have beautiful sand, life guard patrols and shallow water suitable for non swimmers. Varna with 5km of sandy beach and Sea Gardens 17km. Golden Sands, Sunny Day, St Constantine and Elena 17km all sandy. Kranevo 17km sandy beaches, Albena 20m Blue flag beach, shallow water, Balchik 27km rocky coastline with promenade and restaurants rather than beach, Kaliakra Cape and Rusalka 30-35km rocky rugged coast line.

Golf
There are a number of golf courses in the area, further details can be provided for guests who are interested.

Travel
The property is approximately a 20 minute drive along main roads from Varna airport.Car hire is recommended for this property and rental cars can be collected at the airport. Varna is a large city approximately 17kms away with bus and train links to all areas of Bulgaria and Europe. Motorway access to Bourgas and the southern black sea coast resorts is within a 20 minute drive of the village. The main Bulgaria-Romania highway with access to the Kaliakra Cape is about a 15 minute drive away.

Distances
Many of the attractions and resorts of the Northern Black Sea coast are within easy travelling distance of the villa. There is a bus service from the village to the cosmopolitan city of Varna with its beautiful sandy beaches and excellent shopping, and where you can also catch a bus to the nearby resorts of St Constantine and Elena, Sunny Day and Golden Sands. With a car you can also reach the resorts of Kranevo, Albena and Balchik within approx 25 minutes.

Further details
The village has traditional Bulgarian shops which stock a variety of local produce. The main shop on the village green has fresh bread daily and a selection of dairy produce, beer, wine and vegetables so you do not need to leave the village if you don't want to. Varna is a large city with access to hospitals, banks, supermarkets, shopping malls, restaurants and night life to suit all tastes. There are also museums and visitors centers in Varna that provide useful insight to the history and culture of the country. In the surrounding villages there are a number of traditional Bulgarian 'Hans' with folk entertainment throughout the holiday season. Road access to the local resorts is good and if you are interested in nature it is worth heading to the Kaliakra Cape. The resort of Albena provides safe bathing and lots of activities and the resort of Golden Sands never closes during the holiday season! Nearby to Golden Sands is the Aladzha Monastery which is worth a visit.

Booking notes
A 25% non refundable deposit is required at time of booking. Payment is by bank transfer only and booking will be confirmed only when payment is cleared. Balance must be paid 60 days prior to the first day of the holiday or at time of booking if less than 60 days. A refundable cash deposit of 200 euros or BGL equivalent must be paid on arrival to cover possible damage during your stay.
