Alen Mak is a small resort, outside the south entrance of the large resort of Golden Sands. The Aquapolis water-park is close by and Alen Mak has its own popular sandy beach. Golden Sands is described as the 'Jewel in the Crown' of the Black Sea coast with many 5* hotels and plenty of places to enjoy a great family holiday at affordable prices. The apartment is only a 15 minutes taxi ride from Varna - the largest city on the Black Sea Coast. The city, unlike the industrial city of Bourgas in the south, is sophisticated and cosmopolitan. Changeover day
We have no specific change over dates but found last year that most guests arrived and departed on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Outside
The apartment has a nice sized balcony with patio furniture. The shared swimming pool 10m x 5m with children's section and sunbathing area with sunbeds. There is a poolside bar with seating area.
Coast/Beach
Only 10 minutes to the beach. The beach area has bars and shops. Sun beds etc are available for hire.

The local beach has diving classes, boating, fishing trips, boat trips. You can book trips and taxis at the on site bar
Travel
Varna international airport is around 20 minutes drive. The management agency of the property provides a pick up service to the complex. Please ask us for details. Excursions available from the bar.
Distances
The main resort of Golden Sands is around 20 minutes walk from Alen Mak or just a few minutes by taxi. Buses run every few minutes and Varna city which is great for shopping is only 15 minutes by car or 20 minutes by bus. The public transport is cheap and frequent. This part of the Black Sea coast has many places to visit within only 30 minutes drive of the complex, for example Balchic which has a Botanical garden and a palace which was once owned by the Romanian Royalty.

The shops and bars are plentiful offering good food for all tastes. Water sports, boat cruises & day trips can be booked with the on site management team.
