Further details
Bansko town is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It has narrow cobbled streets with stone houses, 120 cultural monuments, museums and exhibitions. In the centre is The Holy Trinity church with its 30 m high bell tower and clock, splendid murals and woodcarvings. In summer hiking, climbing and horse riding are popular. There are well signed routes and hikers' chalets. Mountain bikes can be hired in order to explore this beautiful region. Local companies can organise trips in the mountains e.g. white water rafting, canoeing, paragliding. Also in summer the town hosts a week long jazz festival and other events. For après ski the traditional Bansko tavern (Mehana), with their exceptional charm and style offer local atmosphere with their cuisine and good selection of Bulgarian wines. Most of the local Mehanas even offer live folk music. A visit or two to these is a must! Discos and night clubs work without time limit, and usually close early in the morning. Guest comments
I had a great holiday staying in your chalet, I was surprised at how large it was and there was plenty of space for our group, it was well equipped and spotlessly clean. Bansko is a great town. Ski hire from the hotel was reasonable and the slopes were great for all abilities in our group. We really enjoyed the log fire! Thanks for being so helpful and I will certainly be recommending your chalet. thanks, Craig Jennings
I must let you know what a fantastic summer break I had in your chalet 41. I cannot describe how wonderful the views were. The hotel was excellent value, unlimited buffet for only £8 and the spa prices were less than half UK price! I enjoyed the Zagorka lager at less than £1 per pint. Chalet and hotel facilities were excellent quality at amazing prices. Regards, Ros Godfrey
Fantastic Chalet, Fantastic Spa, Fantastic Skiing, book us in for next year. Cheers, The Hunts.
