Bathrooms: En suite bathroom in bedroom 1 - bath, shower over, toilet and handbasin.
Bathroom 2 - fitted shower cubicle, mixer shower, toilet and handbasin.
Bathroom 3 - fitted shower cubicle, mixer shower, toilet and handbasin.
Kitchen: 4-ring hob with extraction hood, oven, grill, microwave, fridge, toaster. Plenty of pans etc to cook for 10!
Utility Room: Washing machine.
Living Rooms: Large lounge area with double sofa (and sofabed), another double sofa, and a single armchair (and bed).
We also provide two DVD players with a great selection of DVDs and of course a TV. CD/MP3 player is also provided.
Other: The dining area has a table and chairs, storage drawers. This leads to the balcony, which overlooks the mountain.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels and bed linen are provided and changed weekly (more often on request for additional charge). The apartment will be cleaned after you vacate (and again can be arranged more frequently if desired for a small charge).

Skiing
The apartment is located in the centre of Bansko, only 5 minutes walk from the town square and only 800m from the main gondola.
Over the last couple of years, Bansko has had major investment from the European Union and hence has some of the most up-to-date skiing facilities available. The are over 65km of pistes and the new snow cannons help to ensure a good coverage of snow. You can even ski all the way from the top of the mountain, right to the bottom of the gondola - a mere 7.5km!
We can arrange ski lessons with an English ski school, as well as arrange ski hire etc.

Travel
Bansko is about 2.5 hours from Sofia airport - either hire a car or we can arrange a transfer for you.
Flights are now available from Easyjet, British Airways, Bulgaria Air and Wizz air, who all fly direct to Sofia from various UK airports (including Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester and Luton).

You can also travel to Thessaloniki (Greece) on easyJet from Gatwick (about three hours away). Lufhansa also offer some great value flights.

Further details
In Bansko town centre (5 mins walk) you will find all amenities including banks etc.
There is a new large supermarket about 10 minutes walk away, but for everyday goods, the local corner shop will supply everything you will need (50 yards!)
Restaurants, bars and local nightlife are only a short walk away, either up the popular Pirin Street, or into the local town centre. And with prices well below UK rates, you can be guaranteed a good night out that won't break the bank!

Booking notes
We will tentatively hold any dates that you would like to book, however in order to secure and confirm a booking we will need a 20% deposit paid immediately. The remaining balance is payable 6 weeks before your start date (a credit card is required at the resort as a deposit for breakages) This can be paid either directly to our bank account or via personal cheque.

It was close enough to the gondola and thought it compared really well with the other accommodation we saw in Bansko. Keith, you have been brilliant. All holiday we were singing your praises! All your recommendations and advice on the resort from the ski hire to the ski school made the holiday for us. And you have been really patient in answering all my questions. Yes, we would definitely use the apartment again and recommend it to others.

About the owner
We bought this apartment in Dec 2005 really because we have 5 daughters and to go skiing in France etc was simply to expensive. The girls love skiing in Bulgaria, and really enjoy their lessons and time on the mountain. The apartment is 133 sq.m which in comparison to most apartments is huge (and as it is two floors, the feeling of space is even more pronounced). Having 5 daughters means that bathroom space is always at a premium, and again it is one of the reasons for us insisting on having 3 bathrooms!
