Skiing
The oldest Bulgarian winter resort of Borovets has a history since 1896, today Borovets is a large and modern resort for skiers of all abilities. 45 kilometers of marked pistes, highest piste 2,600 meters. Borovets is an alpine resort with a mild climate and high precipitation, with snow cover from mid December through to the end of April, this provides excellent conditions for winters sports, skiing, snowboarding, ski-doos etc
With flood lit pistes until 10.00pm there is also the opportunity for night skiing. There are fourteen snow cannons for artificial snow and Borovets boasts over 200 ski instructors fluent in a variety of languages. There are ski runs for beginners, intermediate and advanced .

Borovets is a lively resort that caters for both single groups and families with, bars, cafe's, night clubs, restaurants and taverners. As you would expect from a modern resort there is a host of supermarkets, cashpoints and banks.
