Ramada 2 Bedroom Apartment (Sleeps 4/6)

All rooms finished to a high standard. 2 double bedrooms each containing twin beds and storage cupbaords. The lounge area also contains a comfortable double sofa bed. Bath and shower room, complete with wash basin and lavatory. Lounge/Dining area with dining table and chairs. Large sofa bed. TV with cable links and radio. Selection of games e.g. playing cards. Kitchenette with oven, hob, fridge, microwave large selection of cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. Entrance Hall with additional cupboard, coat hanging facilities and boot rack.

Ramada Family Apartment ( 1 Bedroom, Sleeps 2/6)

1 very large bedroom comprising of a king size double bed with an optional pull down double bed facility, appropriate for young children sharing with parents. The lounge area also contains a comfortable double sofa bed. A wet room with shower, complete with wash basin and lavatory. Lounge/Dining area with dining table and chairs. Large sofa bed. TV with cable links and radio. Selection of games e.g. playing cards. Traditional real log fire in corner of lounge. Kitchenette with oven, hob, fridge, microwave large selection of cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. Entrance Hall with additional cupboard, coat hanging facilities and boot rack.

Notes on accommodation
Both apartments have air conditioning and central heating. The family apartment has the additional benefit of a real log fire. Linen and towells are changed on a weekly basis.

Accessibility
These are first floor apartments with no lifts.

Outside
The apartments are situated in close proximity to both the main ski lift and the shops and restaurants. Local amenities include; skiing, sledging and boarding with a large number of ski schools to choose from, including the official childrens ski school which offers both indoor and outdoor activities.
If you are looking for something different, there are many local craft shops with the opportunity of enrolling for craft courses either daily or for the duration of your stay.

Golf
Set at the very foot of the impressive Pirin mountains, the Bansko golf course is probably going to be one of the best in country for quality and facilities. In fact, it is being described as world class as it combines luxury spa facilities.
The course is being built by IMG and designed by golfer Ian Woosnam. Ian Woosnam, who is in charge of developing the course, is himself a golfer of the highest levels so who better to entrust the design of this course! Since hitting the golfing scene 1982, Ian Woosnam has taken the golfing world by storm by winning 44 prestigious tournaments throughout the world and setting a British record in the process by doing this. He has earned respect for his golf achievements & for designing award winning, top quality courses. The golf course will be open in late 2008 and in 2009 hundreds of golfers are expected to tee off and enjoy the lush fairways.
Golfers that have visited the site believe it will be one of Europe's most exciting courses.

Skiing
Both apartments are less than 10 minutes walking distance from the main Gondola lift. The ski season is long and normally lasts from December to March. The resort benefits from around 50 snow cannons keeping the runs fresh even when snowfall is light.

Beginners - 35%; Intermediate - 40%; Advanced - 25%
Snow cannons - 45 snow cannons covering over 50% of ski runs
Enjoy a unique 16-kilometer uninterrupted ski run, starting from Todorka Peak (2600 m) at the highest point of the ski center, all the way to base station of the Gondola lift at the outskirts of town. The last 7 km of the slope are lighted, and the entire facility is equipped with artificial snow machines to ensure a great skiing experience even in warmer conditions.

Ski Lifts;
A modern network of lifts inc; 8-man Gondola cable car by Doppelmayr, five 4-seat lifts of the latest Doppelmayr models, one 3-seat lift by Poma, 6 drags & 10 baby drags.

Travel
The nearest large airport is Sofia. Bansko is approximately 150 kilometers from the airport which is under two hours away. We can arrange transfers for you and your party. However if you prefer to make your own arrangments we can recommend a website (please ask).

Further details
Bansko is a world heritage site. The resort is very popular with walkers and birdwatchers. Hotels in the area are open to non staying guests paying to use their facilities such as swimming pools and spas. The five star Kemoinski Hotel Grand Arena next to the gondola lift offers creche and child care facilities.

Booking notes
We would require a £100 non refundable deposit (per apartment) in order to reserve your date. Please e-mail us to reserve your date or with any enquiry you may have.
There is a £50 supplement per week, per apartment for bookins of six guests. This covers sundry items such as extra linen and towels.
Should you have any special reuirements, e.g. in your starter pack we would be happy to oblige.
