Both apartments are in a small traditional style apartment block. Centrally located between the main gondola lift and the historical part of town - both within a short walking distance. Additonal facilities include Cable TV, iron and ironing board, hair dryer and CD player. There is also a coffee/wine bar in which you can relax and enjoy a beverage or two! We can arrange airport transfers for you, and a starter pack of tea, coffee, milk, bread, sugar etc to be waiting for you on arrival (on request). We have a managing agent based in Bansko who would be available to deal with any queries/problems that you may have. Providing you with peace of mind during your stay.

Notes on accommodation
Both apartments have air conditioning and central heating. The family apartment has the additional benefit of a real log fire. Linen and towells are changed on a weekly basis.
Accessibility
These are first floor apartments with no lifts.
Outside
The apartments are situated in close proximity to both the main ski lift and the shops and restaurants. Local amenities include; skiing, sledging, boarding, ice fishing and skiduing. There are a large number of ski schools to choose from, including the official childrens ski school, Ulen, which offers both indoor and outdoor activities. If you are looking for something different, there are many local craft shops with the opportunity of enrolling for craft courses either daily or for the duration of your stay.
Golf
Set at the very foot of the impressive Pirin mountains, the Bansko golf course is probably going to be one of the best in country for quality and facilities. In fact, it is being described as world class as it combines luxury spa facilities. The course is being built by IMG and designed by golfer Ian Woosnam. Ian Woosnam, who is in charge of developing the course, is himself a golfer of the highest levels so who better to entrust the design of this course! Since hitting the golfing scene 1982, Ian Woosnam has taken the golfing world by storm by winning 44 prestigious tournaments throughout the world and setting a British record in the process by doing this. He has earned respect for his golf achievements and for designing award winning, top quality courses. Nine holes are open now with the remaining nine expected to be open this year (2009). Golfers that have visited the site believe it will be one of Europe's most exciting courses.
Skiing
Both apartments are less than 10 minutes walking distance from the main Gondola lift. The ski season is long and normally lasts from December to March. The resort benefits from around 50 snow cannons keeping the runs fresh even when snowfall is light.

Beginners - 35%; Intermediate - 40%; Advanced - 25%
Snow cannons - 45 snow cannons covering over 50% of ski runs
Enjoy a unique 16-kilometer uninterrupted ski run, starting from Todorka Peak (2600 m) at the highest point of the ski center, all the way to base station of the Gondola lift at the outskirts of town. The last 7 km of the slope are lighted, and the entire facility is equipped with artificial snow machines to ensure a great skiing experience even in warmer conditions.

Ski Lifts;
A modern network of lifts inc; 8-man Gondola cable car by Doppelmayr, five 4-seat lifts of the latest Doppelmayr models, one 3-seat lift by Poma, 6 drags & 10 baby drags.
Travel
The nearest large airport is Sofia. Bansko is approximately 150 kilometers from the airport which is approximately two hours away. We can arrange transfers for you and your party. However if you prefer to make your own arrangments we can recommend a website (please ask).
Further details
Bansko is a world heritage site. The resort is very popular with walkers and birdwatchers. Hotels in the area are open to non staying guests paying to use their facilities such as swimming pools and spas. The five star Kiplinski Hotel Grand Arena next to the gondola lift offers creche and child care facilities.
Booking notes
We would require a £100 non refundable deposit (per apartment) in order to reserve your date. Please email us to reserve your date or with any enquiry you may have. There is a £50 supplement per week, per apartment for bookings of six guests. This covers sundry items such as extra linen and towels. Should you have any special requirements, e.g. in your starter pack we would be happy to oblige.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We fell in love with Bansko, and as we also love skiing and enjoy our food Bansko was a perfect choice.
We also visit Bansko out of the ski season as it has a different beauty in summer. The summer provides a much better opportunity to soak up the local culture, to observe the wild life, view the historical buildings and gives us more time to enjoy the food!
Unique benefits of the property
The apartments are probably the the closest situated private apartments to the ski lifts. Equally they are close to the historical town centre giving you the best of both worlds.
The family apartment has two double beds, one of which can be folded into the wall if it is not required.
The styling of the apartments is by Bulgarian standards very high.
We are in contact with other owners within the block so can arrange connections to them if required.
