This chalet is set on the hillside with a balcony out from the lounge with seating to sit and enjoy the fantastic views in the summer. It also has its own private south facing garden with sun loungers for you to enjoy during the hot summer. The chalet is built from stone/brick and solid wood throughout with a lovely log fire for the cold winter evenings. The chalet is only a 200m walk from the Katarino Hotel and Spa Complex with its various themed restaurants and bars. There is plenty to do in the hotel with all the spa facilities and the heated indoor and outdoor pool which is 36 degrees/c in Winter, saunas and steam baths are also available. There is a ten pin bowling alley, snooker and electronic games, fitness suite and outside 2 floodlit tennis courts. Ski rental is also available from here, along with a hairdressers and medical centre.

Optional catered package which includes breakfast and dinner in the hotel and free use of the pool and saunas is available @ £19 per day per adult and £11 for children up to 12yrs. Children under 2yrs are free. This can be selected for as many days as you wish.
Changeover day
Changeover day is generally a Saturday with departure from the chalet by 10.30am. This can be flexible upon discussion.

This luxury chalet has 1 bedroom with twin beds, bedside tables a dressing table and large wardrobe. There is also a fold out bed which can be used in the lounge. The lounge has a sofa and armchair, and a lovely log fire. There is also a TV (with satellite channels) CD player, telephone and safety deposit box. Notes on accommodation
Children of all ages are welcome at this complex, and there is a small playground along with the games rooms for them to use. Smoking is not allowed in the chalet. Pets are not allowed. All hotel facilities are available at a very reasonable cost to guests of the chalet. There is a free bus which runs every 15 mins to and from the gondola station from the front of the hotel during the ski season. The Spa Center offers massage, manicure and pedicure, steam bath, turkish bath, lacconium, water-massages showers, float tank, thermal therapy, kiva sauna, finnish sauna and and numerous other treatments. These really are fantastic value for money! (approx £10 for a 40 minute full body massage). All linen and towels are provided. The chalet is cleaned prior to your arrival and additional maid services is available if required at a cost to you of around £6.
Outside
The balcony which leads out to the private garden has a table and chairs, with 2 sun loungers in the garden. Again it is only a very short walk to the shared swimming pools and tennis courts.
Golf
There is an Ian Woosnam Golf course (18 holes par 72) under construction just two miles down the road which is due for completion Spring 2007.
Skiing
Bansko is a very modern and rapidly expanding ski resort with 65km of piste at present which is due to double in the next 2 years. There is a good altitude of skiing with the highest lift at 2560m, the longest run is 16km, with 9km of xc trails. There is a snowboarders half pipe currently under construction. There are 8 blue beginners slopes, 11 red intermediate slopes and 1 black advanced slope with 15 ski lifts, 1 gondola, 7 high speed chairs and 7 drags. There are also 30 snow cannons to keep the snow topped up. Good off-piste skiing is available along with night skiing. The ski lift passes are fitted with micro-chips which are readable through jacket pockets, making hassle free administration and reduced queues on the slopes. Skis, poles and boots can all be hired from the hotel for 6 days for around 50 Euros with children under 12yrs half price. A 2 hour ski lesson will cost you less than £10, and a 6 day lift pass around £90.
Special interest holidays
This is perfect place to relax in luxury in the summer after a day out walking in the the Pirin National Park. A number of guided Mountain Treks and tours can be arranged through Inter Sport, please contact owner for contact details. Bikes are also available for hire from the hotel and if you enjoy horse riding you can go for some beautiful rides in the mountains. The Peri Vollas Horse Riding Center caters for all standards of horsemanship and can be booked at the hotel reception.
Travel
The nearest airport is Sofia which is 2 hours to the resort (this time is getting less all the time due to vast improvements in the road networks). We can arrange private transfer to the chalet for around 60 euros per vehicle (this can be subject to change). Please contact owner for cheap flight details.
Distances
The nearest town of Razlog is just 2 miles away, while Bansko is 5 miles (taking around 10 mins in a taxi which is very cheap). Sofia Airport is 100 miles.
Further details
Bansko is a very cheap place to holiday with meals and drinks in the local restaurants (mehanas) very reasonable. A meal for 4 with drinks costs less than £20! There is no shortage of places to eat and drink with over 100 charming 'Mehanas' in the cobbled streets of Bansko along with discos and nightclubs.
Booking notes
The chalet is self catering and the price is per chalet not per person. A 30% deposit is required upon booking (and is non-refundable should you cancel or do not pay the outstanding balance) and the remaining 70% is required 28 days before departure. We also require an additional refundable deposit of £150 to cover any breakages (this will be returned to you within a few days of your departure after the chalet has been checked).
