This beautiful chalet is constructed from stone and solid wood with a very high standard of insulation and construction. It has its own large private garden and balcony. The Chalet boasts high quality furniture and fittings throughout with an extensive inventory. A charming traditional log fire supplements the already adequate heating to add that bit of comfort or romance to those nights in. There are unbroken views over the Pirin Mountains and the complex is surrounded by pine forests. The complex is close to the now famous Bansko Ski resort (8Km). There is also a new Ian Woosnam designed golf course only 3km away and is an 18 hole par 72. The Chalet is equipped with two solid wood recliners and parasol so that you can enjoy the uninterrupted mountain views, soak up the sun or just sit quietly on the balcony enjoying breakfast, lunch or dinner alfresco style.

The double sofa bed will accommodate 2 children or one adult only. |

All towels and linen are included and will be changed midweek.

Extensive private lawn 235 sq.m with two solid wood sun loungers and parasol.
The balcony is nicely sheltered and we have sat out here in mid November to eat lunch.

Golf
Ian Woosnam designed golf course, 18 hole par 72 approx 3km.
Opened summer 2006.
Situated against the foothills of the Pirin mountains this is a lovely course.
P.S. We visited in June 2007 and the golf course was not open, we understand for regrassing.
Skiing
The Chalet is situated within 12km of the bottom gondola station. Bansko is Europe's newest and arguably one of its finest ski resorts.
It has 14 pistes providing around 65km of skiiing and boarding. Cross country and off piste skiing are catered for. With its extensive ski season normally Mid December through the end of April this is proving to be an ever increasing popular destination for skiers and boarders of all abilities. The are many good quality ski schools in the area and ski/board hire is available from the hotel. The hotel runs a courtesy bus to Razlog and Bansko which in the skiing season runs approx every 15 minutes.
Travel
Sofia airport is approx 100 miles (approx 2 - 3 Hrs).
Taxis and car hire are available at the airport.
The Katarino Hotel offers transfers by car costing around £50 per vehicle (4 passengers.)
Taxis in the area are cheap and can also be hired by the day for sightseeing.
The Hotel runs a courtesy bus to Razlog and Bansko which in the skiing season runs approx every 15 minutes.

Further details
The town of Bansko is a Unesco World Heritage site. The narrow cobbled streets and squares are a delight to wander around. There are many monuments, exhibitions and museums to visit.
The area is in the Pirin National Park and has some of the finest walking and many well marked trails.
Mountain bikes can be hired either from the complex or in Bansko.
There are local companies that will arrange trips to the mountains, White water rafting, canoeing, paragliding and even hunting. The taverns (Mehana) in Bansko are traditional inns offering a wide selection of local cuisines and many have live folk music. A visit to these is really a must.
In the Summer there is also a Jazz festival.
The cost of living is still quite low in Bulgaria and you will find your money goes a long way.
Euros are widely accepted.
Booking notes
Prices are for the rent of the unit and include one linen change and clean.
If used the facilities of the resort, telephone, firewood and fireplace cleaning and additional maid services are payable locally.
A booking deposit of 30% and 70% payable 28 days before arrival.
This deposit is non refundable should you cancel or fail to pay in full.
An additional REFUNDABLE deposit of £150 is required 28 days before arrival to cover breakages and losses.
